I bought this 1982 FXRS on eBay last October. I flew out to Michigan and rode it back to Phoenix.
The trip back wasn't completely uneventful. Front exhaust kept coming loose, oil leaks, and the chain kept stretching until I was out of adjustment and the bike was surging at lower speeds.
It threw the chain in Scottsdale,Az. 20 miles from home after covering 2,000 miles. My wife came and rescued me with our pickup.
