Iyou can see here my gauge cover. I started pulling off the plasti dip. I am going to powder coat soon. It's just 2 circles cut out of stainless. One is on the inside of the console. I put a nut and screw to tighten the outer circle to the inner. As you tighten the nut it sandwiches the console It's basic , but it works I left the dummy lights in place. I just cut the canvas harness extended the wires, solder and heat shrunk the connections. No issues
