After I had got my alignment dead on with the method to center of the axle nuts, I then checked the distance on each side from alignment hole to outer circumference of the axle nuts. They are exactly the same dia on each side so you can just measure to the edge which is a straight shot and easeir than trying to maintain parallel measurements to the center of the nut which is out further on one side than the other.
