TIP! I saw on one of the youtube videos a guy mentioned getting the old fiber washers off (Cometic kit includes new ones) took him longer than everything else involved combined. I used a razor blade and carefully got it inbetween the fiber/metal washers. Some came right off this way and I could "unthread" them from the bolt. Others broke and I easily scraped them off in pieces with the blade. Quick and easy.
