On one of the Youtube videos I watched the guy mentioned that getting the old fiber washers off took him more time than anything. Here's my TIP/method. I used a razor to trace between the metal/fiber. This allowed most to free up and just twist off the bolt. The ones that did broke into pieces that were easy to (carefully) scrape off the rest of the way with the razor. Easy breezy. Side note: the Cometic kit came with replacements as well as gaskets for the breathers (not pictured).
