Since introduced in 2001, the V-Rod has been the fastest, most advanced Harley offering, but its modern water cooled look wasn't popular. In the hands of custom builders these V-Rods are transformed into bikes that cannot be ignored.
1. Shark Tank-Rod
The Big Kahuna on the streets, this is the baddest shark in the tank, with it's long lines, custom paint and nimble body. It will eat you alive. Created by a builder out of Estonia, there is a bit of a language barrier, so not much in the way of details available, but it has a 300mm rear wheel, and there are more pictures at Fredy.ee.

2. Silver Streak-Rod
Faster than a speeding bullet, more power and locomotion than a rocket. The silver streak is coming on through. This entire bike was dipped in silver paint and a single sided swingarm was added, among other mods. You can see more pictures and a video of it in action at No Limit Customs out of Germany.

3. Red Baron-Rod
Huge wide rims, the supercharger, and painted frame makes this red baron a favorite. The mixture of chrome, red and sheer power are key factors in making this bike great. Fredy.ee in Estonia again comes through with this blown, Ohlins equipped, V-rod custom.

4. Night -Rod
All blacked out with a little orange metallic accent, this stout machine has the bold look to back up the massive power of the V-rod. Spot on rims, with a 360mm rear tire help to elevate this one to the top. The builder also ditched the entire rear frame, and fabricated a hidden air shock for a low, hardtail look. 5. Hannigan Tri-Rod
Heavily modified sleek body molding and screaming Harley-Davidson Racing colors paint makes this V-rod a show stopper. Creativity is definitely a driving factor for this trike, modified by Hannigan Trikes, who can make a trike or sidecar rid out of nearly anything.

6. Spinwurkz Reverse Tri-Rod
Switching the trike concept around, Spinwurkz built this reverse trike, which is sort of a V-rod based Can-Am Spyder. Not much information is available on this bike, unfortunately, but the custom paint really puts it over the top.

7. Keith Pierce's Glide-Rod
Time to hit the road to Sturgis, and make good time. This bagger V-rod conversion will eat up the highway with comfort, while being faster than any other Harley bagger off the showroom floor. Keith Pierce got a sweet deal on a left over 09 V-rod, and proceeded to add all the touring bits from a Road Glide. You can read more details, and see more pictures at Baggers.

8. White Light-Rod
This white beauty is modified to the nines, and is another one done by No Limits Customs out of Germany. Custom paint on the motor really makes this a unique V-rod, and almost makes it look like a toy bike. You can get a rundown of the custom parts used at Dark Kustom (though it is in German).

9. Mellow Yellow-Rod
What am eye catching custom paint presentation. The yellow accents gives this V-Rod by No Limit Customs a warm glow. They really love these modern Harleys in Europe, and you can see more bikes, and more pictures of this one at No Limit.

10. ProStock Drag V-rod
150+ hp at the NHRA finals rocketed this V-rod past the quarter mile in 9 seconds, frying the competition. Make no mistake though, this ProStock drag bike by Vance and Hines is 100% pro and 0% stock. Still, who wouldn't want to own one, if even just for the 9 seconds it would take to drag the 1/4 mile once.
