Custom Vehicle Operation
Pretty much every Harley-Davidson fan out there knows about its CVO (Custom Vehicle Operation) offerings, which are typically the priciest - and flashiest - of the bunch. After all, CVO has been around since 1999, all with a goal of providing customers with what are essentially custom bikes straight from the factory, produced in smaller quantities with higher price tags. However, there are a few other things that make Harley-Davidson CVO models more special than most, too.

Superior Ergonomics
Typically, Harley's CVO models place an emphasis on ergonomics, largely due to their more upright riding positions, comfy arm positioning, and copious amounts of legroom. Of course, this is because CVO models are based on the brand's touring bikes, and in this case, the goal is to provide owners with the very best in long-distance riding comfort, not only for the person controlling it, but also, their passenger.

Custom Looks
Then there are the CVO's unique looks, which are typically created with custom paint, hand-painted pinstriping, and exotic materials such as ostrich leather. Oftentimes, CVO bikes feature accessories and other goods that are exclusive to that line, which is by design - after all, if you're paying a premium to stand out, you should do precisely that.

Unique Features
Speaking of unique features, CVO bikes have plenty of them to offer, ranging from the aforementioned details to things like beefed-up Rockford Fosgate audio systems and advanced technology such as the Reflex Defensive Rider System (RDRS) and adaptive headlamps - the type of tech that's typically reserved for fancy luxury cars.

Harley-Davidson CVO owners also get plenty of special perks with their large outlay of cash, a list that includes their own special customer service and support. That way, whether you're broken down somewhere or just need to replace a damaged chrome piece, doing precisely that is far easier - and those jobs are also completed in a pleasant manner, to boot.

Finally, CVO owners are also able to attend their own special events designed specifically for that model lineup, as well as the occasional CVO-themed party, to boot. It all adds up to an ownership experience that's more akin to a high-end luxury brand than anything else, but then again, that's precisely why people pay a premium to own a CVO in the first place.
