1. Harley-Davidson Anniversary

What better reason to gather than to celebrate the bike that became an infamous culture? Harley-Davidson's  110th Anniversary was celebrated in 2013 and, as always, it was held in Milwaukee which allowed for 6,000 riders. The two hour ride started at Miller Park and headed towards Maier Festival Park.

2. Guinness World Record

Another great reason to join together is to try to break a Guinness World Record. The largest Harley-Davidson motorcycle parade was held in Greece in 2010. Riders got together and brought the motorcycle count to 2,404 for 2.8 miles. In January of 2016, Harley riders tried to beat that record but fell short (with only 885 bikes) due to weather conditions.

3. Pope's Blessing

While also celebrating the 110th anniversary in Rome, hundreds of Harley riders rode into St. Peter's Square and got blessed by Pope Francis. Pope Francis was given two Harley-Davidsons, and while one was sold in auction, the other will stay in the Vatican's museum.

4. Harley-Davidson Euro Festival

On their way to celebrate their 11th annual festival, Harley riders from all across Europe gathered for the sole purpose of riding and celebrating Harley-Davidson. This parade, held in Saint-Tropez, involves music, demos, expos and more. Thousands joined the 2016 parade; its popularity will surely bring more for 2017

5. Barcelona Harley Days Flag Parade

Barcelona's urban event began in 2008 and includes guided tours for groups of 20 to explore the city, including parties and custom bike shows. Its 7th annual Harley Days in 2015 brought over 12,000 riders from 20 countries. Many of the riders held U.S. flags, as it is the birthplace of H-D, and the flags of H.O.G clubs from around the world.

6. Charity Parades

The most admirable reason for riders to get on their bikes is for a good cause. Such is the case in Austria and South Africa. The riders of Austria joined together to raise money for people in need during their Harley-Davidson Charity Tour. These charitable H-D riders rode all around Austria. Dealerships nationwide in South Africa joined together in October of 2016 to support breast cancer awareness during their Harley-Davidson Pink Noise Motorcycle Charity Parade
