1. Harley-Davidson in pastel orange

As we all are preparing for Easter smack dab in the middle of the month of April this year, we decided to look for a few bikes out there sporting Easter colors. One artist from Canada who loves to paint not only portraits but also classic cars and motorcycles in soft pastel colors is Heather Gassell. Heather is from Saskatchewan, Canada, and works out of her own studio called "Gazelle Fine Art.” Check out the pastel orange Harley she did here.

2. 2000 Harley-Davidson dyna wide glide pastel yellow

How about this 2000 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide in pastel yellow?

This little gem lives in the garage and is a 1450cc V-twin 88ci with a lot of extras: Mikuni carburetor, drag pipes, Kuryakyn hand grips and foot controls, Metzler tires, a pillow seat, extra chrome, saddle bags and a windshield. In the neighborhood, it's known as the Boston Massacre.

3. Harley Dyna Wide Glide pastel blue

The Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide is the modern chopper production bike. Besides the stock Harley V-twin and dual shocks, the front forks are slightly raked-out with pull back handlebars, highway pegs and the bobtail rear fender, seen here in a handsome Easter blue.

4. Harley Turquoise Pastel 48

This (almost) turquoise seemingly simple machine looks bold enough to rival the dressier models. It definitely gives the feeling of a blast from the past with the spring-loaded seat and the wrapped pipes. The brake light and the turn signals were relocated for a lower suspension kit to be installed. The custom paint, known as "Pastel 48" looks good with the brass to give this machine a classic look.

6. Custom Harley Sportster in Deep Purple

Bikers (like any other group of people) have varying opinions about anything purple. When I brought home my purple gym bag, my wife said "purple is a girl's color," until I showed her the pink one on the gym wall; then she changed her mind. Whether you like to carry purple with you, or you like to wear purple (such as in Mardi Gras beads) or even eat something purple (such as King Cake) - one thing you cannot deny is how beautiful a deep metal-flake purple looks on a Harley. It's a great color and a great look.

7. 2017 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic in gold

Gold is fine and it's definitely in this year on several models. Here is the 2017 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic, 103ci in Black Hills Gold and Black Quartz - sold in Erie, Pa.

8. Grayson Perry's "Humility and Patience" on a HD Knucklehead

Grayson Perry's Humility and Patience - a Harley-Davidson Knucklehead that can only be found in a British Museum in an exhibit known as the "Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman". Perry is a multi-talented artist, a Turner Prize Winner and a dedicated biker. He combines new and old artistry in all of his work. His pink and blue Humility and Patience logo fly in the face of any traditional rocker text. Sporting his yellow boots and Peter Pan style riding suit, no one but Perry is "enterprising" enough to ride that bike!

9. Custom multi-color pastel Street Bob

In Irving, Texas outside of Dallas a man was born named Rick Fairless. As a youth, he rode bikes with his pals and got into the world of bikes, booze, and tatts. When he was 19 he worked at one of his Uncle's paint stores. He tired of the paint business and eventually opened up the Dallas Easyriders franchise. Unlike other bike shop owners, Rick put a dinosaur on the roof, decorated the interior with a variety of colors. People came from all around to see this unique bike shop. So Rick, wanting to keep them there, opened a bar next door with pool tables, and later a tattoo shop. He calls himself a "Lucky Chump from Texas.” Check out this modern psychedelic custom multi-color pastel Street Bob mixing the old with the new in Easter pastel colors.

Happy Easter!
