King of the Baggers Documentary Explores Series’ Rapid Growth

Behind the Scenes

King of the Baggers has been around for a few years now, and undoubtedly, is one of the most unique motorsports series on the planet. However, KOTB has attracted tons of competition and a loyal fan base in a very short period of time, and for good reason - who doesn't want to watch big, heavy baggers hitting high-speed straights and carving up corners? Now, Harley-Davidson is giving us an inside look at its factory-based team and drivers Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli in this fascinating new documentary. 

Pushing the Limits

Dubbed "Push the Limit," this documentary follows Harley's factory team through the 2023 season, which was a highly successful one for Wyman, specifically. Wyman followed up his tremendous inaugural 2021 season by winning the championship in the series' first year, and he hasn't looked back since then, either. 

Dominant Run

In fact, Wyman claimed victory in 14 out of the first 26 races in KOTB, tacking on another seven in the 2023 season. He wound up finishing third in the championship rankings last year, capping off yet another successful run in the latest KOTB season. 

Other Subjects

Of course, Wyman isn't the only subject of this particular documentary, as it also takes a closer look at defending King of the Baggers champion Hayden Gillim, as well as fellow racers Cory West, Jake Lewis, Patricia Fernandez-West, Frankie Garcia, and many more appearing in the docuseries. 

Behind the Scenes

Otherwise, Push the Limit: Harley-Davidson Racing Season 2 is chock full of racing action as well, giving fans a closer look at the intense wheel-to-wheel action this series has to offer on a regular basis. We also get plenty of behind-the-scenes footage that shows just what riders must endure to achieve success in KOTB as well. 

Docuseries

This is just the beginning of a complete six-episode docuseries, however, which will see new videos released episodically, with a new episode debuting each week on Harley-Davidson's YouTube channel, as well as the company's official app. 

Current Season

Meanwhile, those who want to catch KOTB live for the 2024 season still have a chance to do so, too. Thus far, the series has completed races at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, with the next race set to take place May 31-June 2 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
