Default Forward Controls Street Glide

..anyone switched over from floorboards to forward controls on a StreetGlide? Would like to ditch the floorboards and just wondering what controls would fit.

I took off the heel shifter and added adjustable highway pegs; seems to be best of both worlds-- easier for slow speed with the boards.

I have seen fatboys w/ out boards, so I'm sure it is possible.

Well I didn't do it on my SG but I have a 00 Standard with Accutronix forward controls. The 00 was not comfortable for me when I first go it due to some arthritis problems. Put on the forward controls and all the pain went away. Gives you another 6" or so of leg room. Not for everybody but if your long legged it makes a world of difference. Have done over 700 miles per day on numerous occasions and at first the single peg took some getting used to. Will be selling the 00 so I took the forward controls off to save for the 07 if I have further issues.

Because some of us do not like floor boards. AND some of us like to go around corners faster than the guy with floorboards.
