Default Fell In Love Again Today

And all I did was put Metzlers on the Road Glide. It's like a new bike. I didn't even get out of first gear and I could tell that I'm going to love these tires. [sm=smiley20.gif]Never ever willI put the Duncraps back on. [:'(]

Shoot, I thought you were referring to dpitts bride, not some tires. But, then again, those must be SOME tires.

I am trying the metzlers for the first time on the road glide, seem smoother than the lops. Have not been in the rain yet. Dealer informed me that the correct pressure is critical for extended life. The dunlop gave me 16k miles on the rear.

From day one last May every time I would go through a corner, I'd get a pretty good vibration through the handle bars. Thought it might be wheel bearings or the neck bearing, could never get rid of it. Guess it was the front tire. The vibration is all gone with the new Metzs. As soon as I pulled out from the shop and made my right hand turn, I said WOW! what a difference. So I went and filled up and put a quick 50 on them. Man they are great tires. [sm=icon_rock.gif]Theres more to tires than just mileage.

Great to hear. I've had 3 sets of Metzlers now and love them. Did I miss your post on the Road Rage? Mines still in the box waiting on the damn SERT. How do you like it?

Let me tell you that your going to **** when you take your bike out for the first time withthat 2-1 on. I took off the V&H TD's with Rush 1.75's and it was like I added 20 xtra HP. I know it isn't that much but from the seat of the pants feel........................, it's just incredible how much faster the motor revs and pulls the front end up.

Damn, I just put a new Dunlop on the rear. I think my next rear tire will be a 150 Metz.

I've wondered about this topic. I've always run Dunlops on the sport bike and loved them...but never really thought about going to a performance tire on the SG? I do srape the board often, but have just started kissing the mirror more than trying to drag the knee.

Has anyone ever put real sticky rubber on their HD?

If you have did it make (more than you thought) a difference?
