Default Picture post is oversized

Every time I try to put in a pic, it says it is oversized. I have my camera set to the lowest resolution. How do I re-size my pics?

Microsoft Office Picture manager works if you have the program on your computer or I would think that your Camera came with a program that has an "Edit" function that you can use to resize. If not, go to the New Members Forum and there are instructions in the5th topic down from the top called "Basic how to's: pictures, sigs, & avatars.

If you have windows XP you can use this picture resizer,, it works great, easy to doand for display here 640 X 480 is the size you want. Sig pics here are sized smaller but I don't remember the forum restrictions on it.

Thanks for all the great info. I needed to download the picture resizer ( thanks for the link John). Once in resizer just click on the "custom tab" and manually resize the picture to under the size limit. Shoptroll I am origionally from Pittsburgh.... GO Steelers!!!!! I am trying to embed a photo now. Hope it works.
