Hot- Running on 1 Cylinder?
I was in traffic in 90% weather when at a stop the motor
started running on 1 cylinder. When I accelerated it
when back to running on both again. Next stop back
to 1 again.
The dealer told that this is normal if the bike programmed to do so.
They were nice enough to turn off that feature for me.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanks

I'd leave it off unless you ride in a lot of parade type stop n go traffic. That feature is good for the bikes with parts up front that block a lot of airflow like the touring bikes, etc. HD even put out a bulletin to download it free to some of those bike owners. You shouldn't really need it on a dyna for normal riding unless you notice a lot of uncomfortable heat.

Yep, I plan on leaving it off.
The dealer also told me there’s an upgrade to the
cylinder shut down program I already have,
for those who do the heavy stop and go in hot weather.
When the 1 cylinder is off the motor looks and feels
Like it’s going to jump off the frame.
I’ll put up with a little heat.
