Two methods come to mind right now. 1- work a piece of fishing line between the reflector and the slider and work it back and forth until you get to the bottom, it'll fall off or 2- heat the reflector with a hair dryer or heat gun on low setting to soften up the adhesive behind the reflector and you can then pull it off. Screwdriver method or using anything hard it not recommended as you'll gouge or scratch the slider.

The fishing line process might be easier if you heat the reflector up first to loosen up and come off faster.

 

There's not much you can't remove with a cold chisel and a sledge hammer.

 

I thought of that too. I just hope it's clean under the reflector & doesn't leave a shadow box.

 

I just removed mine 2 weeks ago. Tried the fishing line but it kept binding up and wouldn't slide then broke. I tend to think maybe I didn't heat it enough with the heat gun but I heated it til I couldn't touch it for more than a second or two. So I finally took a screwdriver and by not prying but getting behind it and kinda pulling very carefully I popped them off without damaging the slider. One popped right off and the othercame off in about 40 pieces.

 

I just pulled mine off and took a rag with some gas on it to get the glue off.
Worked like a champ.

Just rip them off dude .Sticky 2 way adhesive..Get some charcoal Lighter and clean the glue off.Then polish.

 

Goo Gone works better and is less hazardous to you.
