Default Fat Bob tail light

I like the looks of the tail light assembly on the CVO softail springer... seems to flow much better with thebobtailrear fender.Any idea if this tail light (p/n #69817-07) can be made to fit on the Fat Bob?

Anyone seen a better looking tail light assembly for the Fat Bob?

I like this too but there is a more sweeping curve to that fender than on the Fatbob so I don't know if it will fit.

Anyone got one that can post the dimensions and how much does it cost ?

$239.00 in the wish book....A little more than I want to spend. I dont think you will get as much light. I want as much light as you can get back there

Yeah, the parts guy at my dealer also said it wouldn't fit. But I don't think he did much beyond looking at what was listed in the catalog.

TARTAN - you might be right about the curve. Also, the Softail rear fender might be a bit wider and they run a 200 rear tire.

hmmr - I like what you did with your taillight (as well as your other mods). But... I'm trying to go LED without having to spend $400+.

I'm going to do some spying at the local dealer . They have one in the show room which I'll check out.

The brightness question - I think that Harley wouldnt fitit if it wasn't at least as bright as a standard light . The led's can be very bright depending on the spec.

I agree that sometimes the parts guys don't think beyond the parts book.

Anyway will let you know what I find out.

If you are gonna spend the big bucks ($289 plus $50 for the mount), you might want to wait til summer. Russ Wernimont will have this one for the Fat Bob by then...
