I'm about 6' tall. Think these will fit or maybe be to long?

I think there are quite a few forum members who have these ... JayfromPA (if I recall) is about your size and uses them.

I am 6'4" with a 34" or 36" inseam and they worked well for me. I took them off to replace with floorboards.

Not to put a pinch on the sale, but they might be too long for someone who is "about"6'.

I'm 6'7" and they are amust for me and anyone over 6'3" IMO. Good deal for you taller guys out there. Quality product.

Thanks for sounding off Jay ... you're a little taller than I remember obviously! But, on the other hand, I did get it right that you're sporting the same forward controls ....

Your bike looks awesome, now--totally different than before. You should doboth before and after photos. What seat are you using and how do you like it? I saw on another thread you did the black Night Train rocker covers ... looks like you also did a black cam cover (or did you just blacken your original one?). Did you say those are 13" apes? I like the height. Your bike is a '06 SG standard isn't it? Did you have the spoke wheels originally or the mag wheels? It seems to me you might have changed them out.

I'm gonna dig up some before pics soon. Didn't take a ton when I first got it and started tearing stuff off.

Put onNitetrain rockers, outer and inner primarys, cam cover and trans cover. The wheels are off a Street Bob, but they were on there when I rolled it off the showroom floor. The factory mags were the main aspect about the SG I disliked. Turned out some dude bought a Street bob the day before and wanted mags so they took my bike out of the crate and swapped the wheels. I got the better end on that deal.

Bars are 13" and it's an 07 FXD.

Hmmmmm..........you just hijacked your own thread, didn't you?

Though I was never a fan of the SG stock speedo, it goes quite well with your overall look ... what with it having a wrinkle black finish and all.

Do you mind my asking how much you gave for all the Night Train parts? Also, what kind of A/C setup are you using now? You using Jackyl's tank lift (2" or 3")?

I got everything used from various forum members. Some I traded stuff for and others I bought at a cheap price. Some of the stuff I had powdercoated by Metal_Mike here on the forums.

I run an Arlen Ness Big Sucker and use Jackyl's 2"tank lift. Now that I think about it, you can see a before pic of my bike in Jackyl's Ebay ad. I got to send him a newer pic once I get the new apes powdercoated and installed.
