Ok its official; I hate spoked wheels! I hate seeing the surface rust where the spoke enters into the rim. Is there a good alternative for this (reasonably priced $500-$600)? i have 2008 Denim Gray Nightrain.

 

I'm with ya there bud. my wheel of choice is this. just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

If its an 08 and its rusting. Take it back. I love the profile spoked rims.

 

Im running the hogpro lemans chrome front and rear. Looks awesome and easy to clean.

I went a semi-cheap route. Got a 21" thunderstar fromoff e-bay for $350and powder coated it wrinkle black for $50. Its a moco wheel so you know it'll bolt on and fit. Thats wheel in my sig pic.
To second WillyP, HogPro does have some awesome wheels and pretty good prices. You can get a polished aluminum wheel for $650, bearings installed ready to bolt on, shipping included. Just dont hold your breath for delivery though, Im on week 9 of the promised 3-4 week delivery time.[:@]

 

Tape off your stocker and paint the spokes black! That's what I did.....

Looking at getting one of these after I get another 1000 mi out of my front tire. Around $500 new on ebay. If you change the front wheel, go wider -- 21 X 3.25

 

its true hd spokes r ****, but one of my mates got a set of after market spoked wheels with s/s spokes but the rear wheels spokes kept snapin whitch is a bummer if they put holes in your inner tube, so hes gone back to ally rear

 

What is the size of the 2008 Nightrain stock front wheel/rim and rear wheel/rim?
