Conflicting Information on Exhaust
I tried a search and didn't have much luck...
I am thinking of installing V&\\;H Long Shots on my 08 Deluxe. I have heard some people say I will need a tuner or ECM program\\; others have said since the 08 has O2 sensors, I am fine without. I am already running a high flow A/C.
Which is right?

If you change one or the other by itself Breather or exhaust you are ok. If you chane both out then you will need some kind of fuel management system.

If you change your exhaust (full exhaust) or your AC you are suppose to run a fuel management system or get the ecm reflashed.
If you just change your slipons (exhaust) then you don't need to do anything.

I have heard it all. because of the lean burn you should get a fuel management even on a stock bike and a dyno-tune.

XIEDS is a patch until you can afford to do it right.

I punched out the baffles on my stock pipes. The bike ran like crap until I had the stage 1 done three days later. It felt like it lost 20% power.

Just plug in XIEDS
They did the trick for me. Change exhauts and intake with no FMS and runs great!
