    My design won't work with a solo seat. The bracket runs under the seat and the mount cones up between the seats.

    Hi, you still have some info on your homemade backrest?
    Looking for one on my 2007 street bob with stock solo seat;
    Thanks and greetings from Belgium

    He is running the stock cables with those bars and Duece risers so you will be fine. He had to bend the brakeline a little, but I just changed my setup and gave him my old braided line. If they don't show the bars on the site it means they are not in stock. i have my old set which are in pretty good shape if you can't find them new.

    Mascman, I was looking for handle bar ideas for my 2008 FXDC and I found an old post of your's showing your brother's super glide with drag bars an it shows links to the bars. Do you remember if he had to change out any cables when he installed those bars? thanks

    I would not advise that you buy a hardtail! Buddy had one and he weighed way more than you. The ass end was always skipping around due to all the bumpy roads.

    How much you looking to spend? I'm sure there are tone of bikes inyour budget. you can PM me if you want.

    Just call Rifle and order a mounting kit for the 49mm forks. They are nice people there and the owner took the time to explain some things to me.

    hi,
    "You have to buy the correct mounting kit for your bike..it was $45 for the 2006+ Dynas"
    what's the name of that mounting kit? i might have to pick those up
    since my arlen ness clamps won't sit flush on the forks. and the
    bolt seems to short. plus does'nt look too secure..
    thanks,

    We had to get a mount for the 2005 and older bikes which are separate from the clamp piece...the 06 and up piece has the clamp integrated so it won't work.

    Just picked one up from Ebay chaep but you can also get a chrome one.

    have seen the accutronix speedo adapter for the superglide on some of your posts. my question is, does the stock black speedo mount have to be machined or changed to fit like it shows in your picture? I haven't taken mine apart yet, but it appears to be a solid piece of metal with the four mounting holes
