I followed your trip as you posted it on your blog, and enjoyed every post! Thanks for taking me along. Probably as close as I will ever get to making it to the Artic Circle, but I never say never.
I hope you get to do it again some day, and maybe take along a good friend this time. I have ridden several Harleys over 400K miles in my lifetime, some solo, and some with friends. There AIN'T no bad ride, but some are surely better than others. I don't know if I could ever go solo for as many miles, and days, as you did.
You had a GREAT ONE my friend. THANK YOU soooooooooooooo much for sharing it with me!

I love the wide glide pics. Exactly what I am looking to do to my 2003. I want to use my stock fender because of my custom limited edition paint. Did you have to modify the fender in any way to keep it?

I love it. I can carve on it better than I could my Wide Glide. Long rides are far more enjoyable. I've never looked back.

Hey! Just saw this message. Sorry so late replying. My bars are Wild-1 model 507. They have a 10" lift and a 12" pull back. My bullet signals cleared the tank, although I now run Kuryakyn LED mirrors. My throttle and clutch cables are stock. I installed a new brake cable; not because it was too short, but because the banjo bolt placed the cable at a stupid looking angle from the bars. Hope this helps. PM me if you have questions so I'll get a notification. Later!

    Scott,
I have an 07 wide glide and went with a 3" tank lift. Absolutely love the way it looks now. I still have the stock mini apes but have relocated my front signals down on the forks. I have been looking around for some street slammers but I'm not sure if the clearance will be enough with the new tank lift on. I like the way your bars look on your 06 and was hoping you have some helpful insight on what will work. I'm also not sure if I would need longer clutch, brake, and throttle cables? Any advise you have is greatly appreciated. Thank you!! "ROCK OF THE MARNE"

Do you happen to remember what the part number was on that spacer you used when you put the 200 on your bike?
