A Hard Candy Purple 2014 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 Build

Sometimes it’s just time to start a build, regardless of the circumstances. It isn’t always necessary to wait for necessary repairs or for the perfect opportunity. In fact, sometimes it is really just best to go for it. And that’s exactly what HDForums member Brandon (A.K.A. “lukecrabwalker“) decided to do with his 2014 Harley-Davidson Iron 883.

He purchased the bike new last year, and he immediately built some bars and pipes an added a little bit to the ride to make it more his own. But after that, he just decided to ride the hell out of it. That’s how it was, up until recently when he decided to was really time to tear into the machine and get it to be exactly the ride he wanted it to be.

Whether it was a boredom with riding it how it was a just a simple persistent longing to make it into something new, we really don’t know. But regardless of his reasoning, Brandon is now pursuing building his Iron 883 into a Cafe/Tracker bike, and he’s doing well so far! He has already changed the bars, started on the tail section, and is planning to make a custom wiring harness and oil tank very soon!
