Blog Review: 'Thunder Press Blog'

Bike Culture Magazine’s Online Site Is Something to Roar About

The voice of the biker community for the past 25 years, Thunder Press magazine offers a nifty online extension of its brand. A great lifestyle site, ThunderPress.net offers expert knowledge, touring features, motorcycle reviews, classifieds and information on new bikes, including, of course, our favorite, Harley-Davidson.

A recent feature by Kip Woodring reviews Harley-Davidson’s all-new Big Twin engine. Woodring explains how the Motor Company delivers on its slogan for the M-8: “Stronger, cooler, with more comfort and style.”

Thunder Press’ blog contains posts by various columnists dating back to June 2007, plus a 2017 events calendar to keep you up to date. Among their recent biker-rally reviews is a great photo blog entry by Felicia Morgan of the 4th Annual Bob’s Biker Blast from November 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona. A notable celebration in years past, the 2015 event was even more exciting because it involved the grand opening of the largest Harley-Davidson dealership in the world.

“Billionaire businessman and philanthropist Bob Parsons, who owns the Scottsdale Harley-Davidson dealership, said they built as much as the space would allow, including 60 feet up and 90 feet down,” writes Morgan. The massive 150,000-square-foot building features much more than just motorcycles. A destination attraction, you can take in events, purchase riding gear, get a tattoo, have your mug snapped in the photo booth and even say your vows in the wedding chapel! There’s also a 20,000-square-foot service department with spotless work stations. Check out the great pics from the grand opening here, and find out more about the world’s largest H-D dealership here.
