Ok, I guess I was supposed to pay attention? Oops, my bad.
So, I finished adjusting the gains again and removing the excess polyfil. Sounds pretty good now!
I really appreciate all of the help you guys have given. I may not listen the first time, but eventually it sinks in.

13Ultra...Was you able to increase your 25-250hz settings? If you can increase them some it makes the sound even fuller. At least it seemed that way to me. It takes a lil time to get it right. As Gannicus mentioned call iron cross if your gonna keep the stock h/u. Hope you enjoy your system.

there are many scenarios where you'd want to do this but these "basic" systems on motorcycles is not one of them. Most of these scenarios involve recording studios, isobaric and band pass sub enclosures, front-stage-center-fill configurations, etc.

I really didn't notice a change with with that setting - probably since my hearing isn't all that good. I am satisfied with how it sounds now. I have a detached garage 30 feet from the house and wifey said "you're new stereo is really loud. I can hear it quite clearly from inside the house." That's all I needed to hear - I buttoned her up.
BTW Greg Kihn Band "Jeopardy" sounds really awesome on it!

Congrats Ultra13, that's what's important, that we are happy with our sounds. I hope to be able to say the same soon.

Gotcha, thanks. That shows my lack of knowledge of real hi fidelity. I've only messed with standard installs in some cars and boats.
