Default S&S Super E excessive fuel use

Some ideas on this would be appreciated guys. Very poor gas mileage. Stock 80" engine, stock jetting .70 main, .295 int. Engine is near new about 15k miles, good compression. Older carb so no adjustable air bleed fitted. Acc pump set out 1.5 turns, ditto air.

I suspect faulty acc pump. Fuel still squirts when adj screw is completely closed.

Ideas guys?

I don't see how that can be happening. The diaphragm is spring loaded. If the adjustment screw for the pump is all the way in, there is no way the accelerator pump rod is releasing the diaphragm to let spring pressure take over and pump the fuel up to the nozzle (squirter). You sure the rod is in there? does the bike have to be running to see this? Did you take the a/c off to visually inspect to see if fuel is coming out the nozzle (squirter) with the adjustment screw all the way in? Post a video if you can....
