Default Got my MS Gauntlet Fairing painted and installed

Just put it on today and took a quick test ride, not bad and looks pretty good. It was originally gloss, but I ended using plastidip to match my bike. Comes pretty close to the denim black. So, I guess I'll be ditching my nightrod fairing...prob post it up in the classifieds later.

You should move the headlight further out so it even with the fairing.

It actually is now, I snapped those before I got to adjusting it.

Looks great. I'm going to order one later this week. How much difference in the wind does it make in your opinion?

I only got chance to ride about 20min after I got it put on. Haven't gotten it on the highway yet. As far as wind off my chest, it did the job. I did notice I was getting blasted in the face a little more than normal, so I just tilted it to where it's a little more straight up and down. I had it kind of tilted back a bit...seemed to fix it. I'll have to get it out on the highway to be able to give an accurate review. But so far I like it.

So got it out on the highway this morning. Cruising 80mph I feel almost nothing on my chest. The only "issue" I'm running into is some buffeting on my head. Is this normal with a 1/4 fairing or "windshield"? It's not bad, just wondering if that's a normal thing..

I get a bit with my current windshield (standard HD quick detach cut to my height) but not bad. How does it compare with your previous fairing?
