Default Street Bob Fender on Fat Bob Questions...yes I've used search

I have a 2009 Fat Bob and I'm putting a 2012 street bob fender. I went to the local dealership to see what spacers they have as people using the street bob have mentioned.

What kind of spacers do you guys recommend and where to get them?

Also I want to convert the turn signals into running/brake lights. What control module do you recommend?

I don't think the Street Bob fender will fit on the Fat Bob. The only fender that will work is from the Wide Glide.

Will the fender even clear the tire?
I don't think you will find spacers made specifically for that application. You will probably have to measure and make them yourself.

I'm gonna guess that you mean the front fender. The Fat Bob trees are wider than the Street Bob, just like the Wide Glide.
This is where I get my spacers: http://dmpfasteners.com/shop/harley-...me-spacer-108/

As for the module I use Biketronics. I like that they have a lifetime warranty.

Come on guys, rear fender. That's the conversion everyone has been doing lol. Yes it'll fit I've figured out that much.

What I've gathered so far is I'll have to shim it myself with washers and what not. I'll post progress as I do it.

Sure it'll fit. .but it's going to look really goofy:

I think you're going to need a half inch of spacers on both sides.

Street bob fender will be too narrow for both your frame and tire. You're better off using the wide glide fender

It's not to narrow for the tire. I have a Fat Bob wheel & tire on the rear of my Superglide.
