After too many hours reading over posts and conversation with 07Bobber, Emerican19 and 619Bob, I am finally done with my project!
Many thanks to those three. Truly good dudes, and lots of knowledge among them.
I have put about 200 miles on it over the last 2 days making sure everything is tight and safe. Sweepers and tighter turns feel great with the cast wheels, and braking is greatly improved! I went with all new bearings while I had it apart, and also went to lyndall Z-plus pads on all rotors. I am very happy with the look and the feel now. Bike is an 07 street bob, wheels are 2000-2005ish. both hubs had to be bored out. All work done in the garage by me with the exception of swapping in the fat bob lowers.

Unknown taillight. Bought it on here used. It has integrated signals and is very bright

 

3 month update, everything is better about the bike. I can not say enough good things about how much more I enjoy riding it. Braking has already saved me in a 2 up sudden slow/stop situation and the feeling of the solid wheels is perfect for handling.
