Default need saddle bag help

2003 Wide Glide, I want a good pair of saddlebags,

I do not want to do a turn signal relocation, so I'm looking at smaller bags that will fit in front of the signals,

I want something that looks really good, and I'd prefer fabric since I have a tail bag that is fabric,

I think these are the closest to what I want,

should I get a set of saddle bag supports to help these fit better? like this??

I'd like something that looks really good but I don't want to spend a crazy amount of money either, honestly I'd like to keep it below $250,,

any suggestions?

thanks

I went with Willie & Max throw overs for about 130 bucks...I had a set on the sporty I had also,,both have held up real well and still look new.. I went with the guards mainly to keep them hanging straight...

I think you need about 10.5" in length of I remember correctly.
I bought some from Cycle Gear for my wife and they fit In between. On sale for about $125.
I also got some super cheapies from Ebay and they fit.
I didn't want to relocate the tail lights either.
If you have a Cycle Gear store near by, go to it with your bike and they should help you. They had some black nylon ones too if you don't want leather.

Wish I knew the brand of my bags. Picked them up at a flea market for right around 150 brand new. They fit right in-between the shocks and tail light. Any wider and they wouldn't fit. I love them.

Nice frank, those are perfect for your bike, I think I have seen them on JP cycles, I have exactly 13.5" between my signals & shocks.. looking for something ideally that would match my dowco iron rider tail bag. I could change the tail bag to leather too though..

maybe eve get a integrated tail light & put bigger bags on.

thanks man, yea I wasn't even looking for sadle bags, and I saw them out of the corner of my eye. Culdn't pass them up. the zippers lock to the part under the seat, and the lids lock to the bag it self. pretty neat deal for 150. and they don't budge at 90 on the interstate. Best flea market find so far.

Honestly dude - if there's one area that i'd wanna splash out on, it's the bags. I honestly have been thru HELL with my sportster cuz i was trying to cut corners on the bags $$ wise. My advice - save a few pennies, and then go take a look on VikingBags.com, get the bags plus the install hardware they have that's included with the bags. All fitted for YOUR bike. I've found that the wrong bags will do more harm then good if you're even the LEAST bit concerned about the finish of your paint / chrome / powdercoating.
