Summer's here... Oil cooler options and pics
Ok it's been 100+ regularly here and it looks to stay that way. I'd like to pick up an oil cooler for the bike, I'll probably go with a jagg because of their good reputation and I don't really have the time to fab something up. I like the idea of the low mount but don't like the risk of having it directly behind the tire and possibly puncturing it with a rock, however it's not completely out of the question. The vertical mount on the left tube seems like it would get the most airflow tho obviously it doesn't blend in as much but I'm ok with that. Does anyone with the 10 row vertical cooler have any pictures? I know it's going to stick out but I'd like to see how it looks. Any other thoughts on the low mount vs the vertical? Thanks fellas!

Here ya go. Jagg 10-row vertical. It's actually surprisingly inconspicuous. Tucked under/inside the line of the gas tank, from most angles it pretty much disappears into the frame. I've removed all that other stuff you see on the photos (screens, bags, bottles etc) after the trip I took, but the cooler remains and doesn't show much. Works a treat, sits out in the wind and out of the tire's spray of crud too...
Highly recommended.

I know it's not a Dyna. With that said it is a jagg. It works great and blends in perfectly with the jugs. I live on long island and my oil temp in the tank rarely goes over 170* except for when I'm stuck in traffic in Manhatten. Worst place in the world for an air cooled Harley. Been using it for 6 years now..and it's safe where it's mounted...

Here's my fake oil cooler on my lowrider, 1975 ford ltd power steering steering pump cooler, 20 bucks w hoses and fitting auto zone, I bought the adapter plate from Harley for the filter, 100 bucks, unfortunately I got a California bike, still have the charcoal canister. Gotta ditch that thing, still looking at relocating or removing.
