When my Wide Glide was the main bike I would do the same thing. When we would ride up to Laconia we would be two up with enough gear for a week. When we got there I would grab my first beer and spend about 30 minutes taking off the sissy bar, luggage rack, saddle bags and saddle bag supports. Ride around like that for the week, then back on Sunday to go home. Versatile bikes for sure.

Missouri roads are really nice. No way he could do that in California.

(my employer is just outside of STL, live in NorCal)
