Default Had a mishap with an object punching my oil pan grrr

Sooo I took the bike out for a nice little cruise. I should have stayed the hell home. I was about 3 miles from my house and a bee stung me, So I pulled over quick then took back off only to hit a damn bird 5min later. Weeeell I went to the township building for a few things, stopped the bike then all hell broke loose. Oil started pouring out of my oil pan. WTF! Something must have knocked a hole threw it from the time I got stung till that point. Talk about a ruff day of riding. Thankfully full coverage and a $100 deductible and my mechanic skills just might make me a few hundred bucks in all of this. To bad for me I was suppose to take it to Atlantic City to my girls fathers yacht and cruise the beech this weekend. Talk about feeling like you lost your best friend

Holy Hell, brother. That sounds like a day not to get out of bed. Let us know what went through it. Can't believe you would not hear or feel it.

Still trying to figure out what went threw it. I'm just glad my oil soaked rear tire stuck to the road long enough for me to get stopped. After it was all said and done I just hope the motor is ok. There was enough oil on the parking lot that makes me believe it is, plus the oil light never came on before I shut her down.

And I never seen any rocks nor any other type of debris. It was only a 4mile stretch of road so who knows what the hell ruined my day.

That is a bad day. Maybe your girlfriend's rich Dad put a contract out on your middle class butt.
Sounds like a good Lifetime Channel script.

I'd wear your life preserver on the boat. You don't want to end up like Natalie Wood.

Sure it's broken and not just a loose/missing drain plug? Seems like it would take one helluva hit to break that casting...not something I'd think would be subtle.

Post up a pic of the hole.

Something similar happened to a guy I used to ride with; the hole was threaded. I never rode with him again.
