Default Getting there... Build thread.

2016 FXDB started from scratch... a few troubles along the way but ultimately it will be awesome and my own.

So far the mods are FP3, MX T-Bars 14", Memphis shades Gauntlet, Thunderheader not installed yet and V&H VO2 Grenade.

What will be installed when it arrives Black derby cover, Progressive 970 piggyback shocks, Ness smooth touch grips, Mustang fastback seat, High performance mono tube fork cartridge kit (progressive) and LED Headlight.

What your doing is not a "Build",, it's accessorizing or customizing,, your not building anything,, your swapping parts.

I think that maybe before you reply you should think about what you say... I am stripping my bike down and replacing parts therefore I am building off of the stock platform... if you have any further comments please keep them to yourself as I can call what I am doing and what I name my threads whatever I want. Thanks for your useless input though, come again if you have something useful to say or have something that will be helpful.

Gotta love the keyboard warriors lol!

Bike looks great man. The progressive mono tube is a good upgrade as well, def better than stock. If you don't already have an extended 12mm hex socket get one. You may have to order online. When I was looking no one in town had it. Wound up buying a 12mm Allen from Sears, cutting it and using a 12mm socket.

Thanks for the heads up! Yeah I get a little over the top when I feel people aren't a productive part of my thread...

10/10 great post, would read again... /sarcasm

As far as I'm concerned, customizing is starting with a blank slate and slowly building the bike you want...but that's just me

Looks good OP, looking forward to seeing it all done
