Default Intercom system

Anyone ever used a helmet intercom system? I found a set of helmets on ebay with one. You can speak to eachother and also listen to an ipod. If anyone has one or knows anything about them I would appreciate any advice available.

Is this a stupid question, or has no one used one?

Hard to say. Put a link up to the Intercom your looking at. I have one at home that is not worth the effort. It is an old one. Wired not wireless, with a radio that always goes off station. It didn't have any provisions for iPod input.
Would mind replacing it. My scoot is loud and the wife isn't happy when she can't get in my ear.

i have tried a few different sytems, and it seems that anything past 40 MPH, you can't hear anything. unless you wear a full face helmet, the sytem just doesnt work.
