I have about 13000mi on the original tires on the FXD so I started calling around for the bad news Central Michigan area (metzler, installed $345.00 Dunlop $245 installed
Are these prices in range

Thats the quotes i'm getting $240 - 260 for Dunlop installed

 

I heard Metzler was installing tires for $60 buks labor (i think per wheel)
at street vibrations in Reno, NV.... september (if your near by?)

 

just had new tires mounted today.put another metzler on the front had 30000 miles on last front metz.and went with a dunlop again on rear that lasted 6500 miles which is preety good for the 160.currently am running 5 rears to 1 front grrr. price of labor for mounting was 90 bux for both and rear was 123 dollors and front was 103 dollors.4 bux recycle feeand tax.total bill was 343 dollors. bike currently has 42000 miles

 

I just put on a new Dunlop Elete 3 160/80 16 Tire was $130 shop put it on for $60 . Got tire at Motoxoutlet. They have the Dunlop 401 150/80 16 for $100

 

Just paid 473.20 for Metz 880's installed front and back, big improvement over the oem Dunlops, no tracking, turns are tighter with less input, feels like a sportbike, lol.

 

Paid $197 for rear K591 160/17 installed in Texas. $ 1 hr labor at $55/hr

 

wow! that has to be at hd isnt it? thats 84 dollors difference from my 160 k591/17 thru a indy
