archergodwin that looks sweet. Does it give more light. The little I have rode after dark on my bike I can say I need more light. I guess, I'm going to the eye doctor this weekend it may be I just need glasses. But it does look nice.

Looks almost as good as mine.

Did you use your stock mounting block, or the one that came with the 7" unit?

I used my stock mounting block. I took a look at the one they sent, and compared it to the one on the bike. I liked where the stock block positioned the headlight. Wasn't enough difference in the width to worry about.

The headlight came with a stock style H4 bulb. It put out quite a bit of light, but I've put a Sylvania Ultra Silverstar in it.

That's what I did, too. The stock one is nice polished chrome, while the one that came with the light was unfinished and zinc plated.

The only issue I have to fix now, is my quick detach windshield won't fit over the light. But I figured that would happen, and is no surprise. I just need to figure the best way to trim the inside radius where it fit over the stock light.

My first thoughts are in using a dremel with a cutting disc, to make progressively deeper scores until I'm through it. Then clean the edges up with fine files and sandpaper. I may start a new thread asking if anybody has done that to their windshield.

The cutout on my Memphis Slim windshield is big enough for a 7" light, but I did have to move the docking rings up some on the forks to be able to easily mount and dismount the windshield.

That looks like a sealed beam setup? You didn't just downgrade yourself did you?
