I want to take the rear shocks apart and powdercoat the chrome "collars" at the top and bottom of the spring......is it easy to get them apart? how do I do it?
if you find the right powder coater they will also have a bike shop... and have a spring compressor for removing those... and installing them... *hint *hint

LOL - that hypothetical powdercoater with their own bike shop probably would be able and willing to dissassemble and reassemple the rear turn signals too.....man; if only such a place existed...........

I really wish said hypothetical powdercoater would have existed before I went through all the trouble of welding up my own spring compressor. From now on, it all goes to Joe. Hell, if he didn't live so far away I'd just drive it over and point to stuff. "Flat black...wrinkle black...gloss black..."
