Default Street Bob Touring

Got back from a 1,135 mile tour through Arkansas yesterday….. the Street Bob kicked ***! Finally got to really put a test to the Mustang Vintage Solo – I never even had a second thought about my butt hurting. My feet and ankles were another story. Too bad I can’t reach those highway pegs.

I rode the Talimena Scenic Drive over into Arkansas and took Hwy 7 up to Eureka Springs stopping by a few state parks on the way and then took Hwy 23 (The Pig Trail) on my way home yesterday. Bike handled well in the twisties. I wasn’t trying to set any speed records, but it handled admirably.

I posted some pictures and a short report on the trip in the touring section. I should have posted in the Southeast section I guess…. Mods might need to move it.

What keeps the rack from getting into the fender when you put it on. (its the direct mount not the detach one right?

No, you buy the hardware that you can use for detachable sissy bars and it quick detaches from there. It’s on the Harley website.

I got one little ‘denim wear mark’ from where my tent rubbed the fender, but I figured out how to keep it off the fender and didn’t sustain any more ‘character’ to my paint for the entire trip.

Here’s the mount kit that it attaches to.
