Default Bad Motor Mount symptoms?

I have 2009 Fat Bob with 33k. I get a vibration while slowly rolling on the throttle or holding it steady in the 2000-2600 rpm range. Those of you who have had motor mount problems, is this what you are experiencing?

When my front mount went bad I didn't notice any vibrations. It would clank when going over a big bump. That's not to say yours isn't a problem. Where do you feel the vibration- pegs, bars, seat? It's also possible there's something going on in your primary.

Default Symptoms

I'm pretty sure that at least my from mount is bad...symptoms...can't keep exhaust stud nuts on the front cylinder and broke off one of the rear exhaust studs. As soon as I fix the stud, I will check our the motor mounts. I briefly looked at the rear one and it looked good as well as the top brace...

The only reason I can think of that would cause your exhaust studs to break like that is if your pipes are not supported at the rear. Have you checked your rear pipe support? is it still bolted to the motor/trans?

+1...A sure sign of a loose exhaust mount!

It feel more like it's coming from the seat. It is more noticeable at light throttle. Under heavy load it's not noticeable.

Default Vibrations

Yes the pipe was loose at one point where it hangs off the trans bracket, but the stud was already broken at that point.

Not really, mine was more of a clunk like a loose tank bolt would make. Also the top of the rubber mount was touching the top of the mount frame. Changed out last winter and things really smoothed out to a more normal Dyna vibration.

I'd be really surprised if your front motor is any good at all by now. My first lasted 6K miles and the second 5K before they had collapsed so that the top of the mount's clearance was gone. That led to more vibration and odd handling issues where the bike kinda lurched around corners.
