That's the correct part number for the V&H quiet baffle; I'd be willing to speculate you'd have better results by staying with the stock baffles and installing Q118 TTI's; with the stock baffles installed and the Q TTI's you'll have a quieter exhaust at cruising RPM's and under throttle; you don't get that much sound reduction out of the V&H quiet baffles...

Yea; that seems to be the way it is with some previous wannabe owners; nothing but noise, not any concern about tonal quality or actual performance

I'm running my BSS's with baffles removed and W158 TTI's installed; it's a deep resonance to the exhaust and it doesn't have that harsh, bright overtone of the stock BSS's. It's that bright rasp that makes the pipes seem so loud; and they are harsh with the stock baffles.

Just an FYI, you'll need to cut notches in the full coverage heat shields to install the TTI's so the heat shields can slide around the TTI locknuts; the metal of the heat shields is soft and cuts easily; I've done it on 3 Wide Glides now using BSS's; it's completely worth it

DK pilfered this image of mine but that's all good W158's on my '13 Wide Glide...

Previous owner of my Low Rider had took the baffles out as well, sounded awful! Just installed quiet baffles the other night and made a difference at idle, on throttle still loud but not the raspy it was before. I like the above option as well, wish I would have seen that first but still happy... this was on short shots not big shots though.

Anyone ever get "drone" when cruising at very low rpm?
This is an issue in the Vette community.

21301 is the new #for the same baffles, according to VH the 21869 are the old #.

Nope, not here.
Running stock baffles and 158 TTI's as has been recommended here for years for the V&H BS.
Ran 2 seasons with just stock baffles,, kinda too loud,, not so much for me but I wanted to keep peace with neighbors. After installing the TTI's I got a lot of comments about how much better it sounded,
More "throaty" is the best way to say it,, the tinny bite to the bark is gone.

And Norty,, why in hell are you talking about "vettes" here?

Am I understanding this right? You're using lollypops WITH baffles?
