Default HELP! Very HIGH rev on start up

I started my 2005 dyna superglide today to go for a ride and it started just fine but it reved up the rpms quite high and stays there? I havnt started it for 2 weeks and live in a very cold climate. Today it is not to cold here around 30 degrees and it has been in the garage. The only thing I can think is I changed out the factory air cleaner for a aftermarket set up but it ran fine before I parked it 2 weeks ago for the snow storms. It is EFI by the way. I also shut it off and restarted it just as easy 2 more times as the first time and it just stays in a high rev. If I roll back on the throttle some it will just rev up a bit more and on release it goes right back to the high rev...if I crack the throttle fast it will just back fire and then go back to the high rev..... any help would b appreciated as I would like to ride today!

Sounds like a vaccum leak. Check where the runners connect to the heads. M seals went bad last spring and had to replace them.

Did you run it long enough to warm up...what does it do after warming up?

I just let it run about a minute or less when each time I started it. I didnt know if it was bad or not to let it start up that high of an idle so didnt want it to run to long. I just put the factory ac set up on it and it is still doing the same thing?

My 06 Bob does it till it warms up in sub 30 deg weather. I always just let it have a gear and ride it for a min it always levels out.

I am not really sure just how high it's idling, but if it's not screamin, I'd let it warm up and see if it comes off high idle.

It it never idles down, then I'd say air leak like the others have stated.

Clean the IAC port and if that doesnt do it it might be a bad TPS sensor.
