Default help taking off lower belt guard

So here is what I've got... 99 FXDX... I'm trying to take off the lower belt guard and the bolt near at the front is a B1tch to get at... any ideas? how do i get at this?

i have no jack at the moment and a limited tool set...fyi..lol

If you first remove the passenger footrest bracket (allen head screw under the engine), you'll gain some more space to access the front bolt using a 3/8 open end wrench.

pick up a set of gear wrenches. they have a ratcheting box end on one side and open end on the other. Great for tight places where you dont have a lot of room to turn the bolt.

thx guys... i tried both the swivel socket and the gear wrenches with no success but ill try to remove the peg and see how that goes :S

got it... easiest way according to my efforts and the Dealer is to remove the passenger peg... its one allen that does the trick there.... thx for the help
