Xied's from dk customs..
Hey all, I have these installed on my 12 street bob with big sucker and road rage 2-1. I can't seem to get these to work to my advantage.. I really don't notice an increase in throttle response, etc. I have tried to adjust them all diff ways. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Where is the sweet spot? Lol. Maybe I should just get a tune and be done.. Any thoughts? Cheers-

XiED's are not adjustable, and are not made for your bike. Maybe you have the FL-ViED-10? That is the only adjustable one made for your bike.
Make sure they are grounded per the instructions.
There are thousands that are using these and experience improvement (not as much as a good tune, but still far better than stock). If you have not noticed any improvement, re-check installation-connections, adjust per instructions, if that still yields no improvement you may have a defective pair. btw, they do have a richening effect on open loop also via the LTFT. Many posts about how that works.
The above say for years 10-11, but are the same for thru 13.
Oh, and check for any exhaust leaks, even the smallest leak will compromise effectiveness.
