Default cleaning carbon

Anyone have a good way to clean carbon off valves and piston without tearing down. Tried to research and found some info., just thought i would throw it out there again and see what you all have to say. Read that you can spray seafoam on top of pistons and let it sit awhile, and spray some in throttle body. Before I do I wanted to get some opinions. Thanks, and man am I ready to ride. Winter blows.

Seafoam spray while running as directed on the can.

Use seafoam in gas and in the oil as directed on the can.

Water introduced to the intake while running will steam clean the engine.

Have to agree with everybody else on this one. My mech recomended it and i couldnt believe the black smoke even though I had finshed a 3200 km trip in 3 days average speed 135 kmh 3 weeks prior to the cleaning.

I never believed in Seafoam hype but I tried some in our old abused crappy running lawn mower once and the damn thing ran pretty good afterwards.
I just poured it into the carb while it was running then let it die and sit a few minutes then after starting it smoked more than Oprah's grill after BBQing a couple dozen burgers for herself for lunch. After the smoke cleared out it was running good.

Water is a very effective method but its not idiot proof cause if a first timer doesn't know to pour slowly at high rev and if the engine stalls immediately stop pouring and then wait to allow the water to dry before attempting to start the engine it can damage the engine. It's called hydrolock or hydrostatic lock when you flood the engine with water and its not a good thing because the water will not combust and thus puts too much pressure between the piston and head which can cause parts to bend and break. Not very likely with a slow pour but possible if you are not aware of the right way to do it.

Follow the directions on the back of the can, simple as that.
