2013 streetbob passenger seat w/ sissy bar
My wife says she absolutely wants a sissy bar back rest for the times she will ride with me but I definitely do not want a permanent sissy bar on my bike... Does anyone know of a decent solution other than just telling her she can't ride?
Thanks for any help

I have been researching this as well for my 13 SB. If you go the HD route, I think you will need to get the sissy bar, docking hardware, and a license plate relocation kit that will kill the look of your rear fender.
See Here
I plan to relocate my plate to the axle which complicates, but solves a few things.

Didn't your parents ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all... Don't be ignorant and think that I am new to the bike world because I just recently joined this forum...
I have done plenty of searching and was simply using the forum for its actual purpose to see what other people have personally done and see how it works for them before spending hundreds of dollars.
I'm glad that you took the time to be such a positive addition to this forum!

I just got the vertical plate relocation from DK Custom but I need a longer lower shock mount bolt before I install it, I will try and do it this weekend and post some pics... The one thing that bugs me about the relocation kit is that it isn't a solid piece... You bolt the relocation arm to the lower shock mount and then the
flat plate that you fasten the license plate to bolts to the relocation arm with 2 of the license plate fasteners... I wish the relocation arm just came welded to the plate which is what I am thinking about doing myself.
I also plan on chopping my rear fender in the future so I'm not sure how much that will screw with my passenger situation.

This is what I'll eventually. Go with. No mods, no fender disassembly, nothing but an extra step during pillion installation.
Of course Ill need it for maybe 3 hours per year.
