Default Touring seat on my Lowrider

The mailman just left my touring seat and I popped it on. Its similar to the Sundowner I had on my Sportster. Not the best looking seat out there, but comfy and most importantly, comfy for the wife. I did immediately notice another bonus. It lifted me up a little and made the mid controls lot more comfortable. I was used to the forwards on my Sporty, and was toying with swapping to forwards on the dyna. I think Ill just get a set of highway bars and see how that goes. I think with the highway pegs, Ill be able to swap back to the lower stock seat for solo riding and still be ok.

Oh and thanks to member FXD_TG for a smooth transaction on the saddle!

I was looking at this seat today. The dealer had 20% off. However I didn't get it because I was afraid it would be touching the uprights on the sissy bar. It looks like you have the same sissy bar I have. Mine is not the quick detach. Does this seat touch any part of the sissy bar? Thanks.

If I were going to guess I'd say the op's sissy bar is quick detachable. When I had my sundowner seat (looks just like his) it touched the side plates but it never left any signs of wear on the seat. I always took the seat off before removing the sissy bar.
