Default Jets for cycle shack slip ons

Hi guys,
I bought a 2003 fxd carb. Haven't had a carb till way back with my 1998 softail.
I used to put the pipes and hi flow kit on then change the jets and away I went.
Anyone know what jet numbers to put in a stock fxd twin cam with hi flow and slip ons.
Thanks in advance.
Dano

Cant I just put in jets and not screw with anything else in the carb?
I think I used to do it that way?
Thanks

I'd go with the 46 slow and 190 main, then change the needle out to a Sportster needle, p/n 27094-88. Start with the idle mix screw about 2 turns out from lightly seated. My reference is an article by Joe Minton in American Iron, May 2011 issue.

So thats my question? "change the needle out to a Sportster needle' do I have to change the needle?. Do I have to put washers on the needle?. Do I have to do anything but jets?. I ask because sometimes we do over kill. I remember just changing the jets and riding the bike. Anything is better than the stock stuff.
Thanks

Remember jet size varies, it also depends on altitude. I think 46/185 is a good start unless you dyno it.
