I am going to attempt to re-lace my front wheel with Stainless Twisted spokes...Where is a good source to buy them?

 

J&P Cycles, Custom Chrome, Amazon, eBay...search them out. Twisted spikes are bad ***. Plan to go that route if i get some chrome rims to lace up to my hubs.

 

I may end up getting Twisted Chrome...SS is like 3 times the $$$

I bought a spoke rim from eBay at a decent price. Got the rim the other day, almost too nice to tear it apart..it's almost mint...but I tore the regular spokes off it anyway. I found a set of drag specialty twisted spokes on eBay, waiting for them to arrive. In the meantime, I wet sanded and polished the aluminum hub..looks better than new.

 

Have any of you guys actually laced the wheel? Seems kinda sketchy as its all technique?

I went HD wheels for mine... awesome quality, you pay a bit more but they looks like new still

 

Well,I bought a used stock wheel off ebay,,,,bought some twisted spokes,,,ready to re-lace....found out the rim band on the used wheel is bent..ughh Back to the drawing board.

 

Man that sucks. Twisted spokes is what I plan on using on mine when I replace my black rims with chrome ones later this year. Hard to beat the look of the twisted spokes.
