I bought a spoke rim from eBay at a decent price. Got the rim the other day, almost too nice to tear it apart..it's almost mint...but I tore the regular spokes off it anyway. I found a set of drag specialty twisted spokes on eBay, waiting for them to arrive. In the meantime, I wet sanded and polished the aluminum hub..looks better than new.
Well,I bought a used stock wheel off ebay,,,,bought some twisted spokes,,,ready to re-lace....found out the rim band on the used wheel is bent..ughh Back to the drawing board.
Man that sucks. Twisted spokes is what I plan on using on mine when I replace my black rims with chrome ones later this year. Hard to beat the look of the twisted spokes.
