Default Hard wiring for battery tender / electric riding jacket

I have an adapter I want to use that connects to a tender plug. I would like to see/hear any ideas on securing the 12 volt pigtail. In the past I have been leaving it under the battery cover until needed. I'm trying to avoid having a dangling plug. Any ideas appreciated

There is just enough cable on the standard BT pigtail to run it under the seat and out the left side on top of the electrical side cover. It doesn't dangle near as much.

I have mine coming off the battery and fed through the hole you can see behind the battery (positive side) in the battery box. It is then fed over the cables running down the back bone between the batery box/fuse box and the tank then it comes out between my seat and the tank (this is when I plug it in at), then when I am not using it, I fed it over the back bone (over rear tank mount) and pull the seat pad back and tuck the plug under the seat, behind the tank. If thats hard to picture, let me know and I'll try and post some pics.
